Feature
A course catalogue you build once
Courses, modules, lessons and syllabus topics, ready to reuse for every batch.
Highlights
Courses with structure
Describe each course with modules, lessons and an ordered syllabus.
Categories and levels
Group courses by category and level so they are easy to find.
Reusable and date-free
The catalogue has no dates. Every batch is a new run of the same course.
Import from CSV
Load your existing course list from a spreadsheet.
Your courses are the product you sell. In Instione they live in a catalogue that is separate from the dates on which you run them, so you describe a course once and use it again and again.
Describe the course properly
Each course has a title, description, category, level, duration and total planned hours. Below that you can organise content into modules and lessons, in the order you teach them. Reordering is simple, so restructuring a course after feedback does not mean starting over.
A syllabus you can track
Add syllabus topics to a course with planned hours for each one. These topics are the basis for showing how far a batch has progressed, so an instructor can mark what a session covered and you can see the percentage complete against the plan.
Why the catalogue has no dates
A course such as “Tally with GST” does not have a start date. A batch does. Keeping the two apart means you never copy a course just because a new intake begins. When you schedule a batch, you simply pick the course from the catalogue, and the same course is available when you set up fees.
Bring your existing list
If your courses are already in a spreadsheet, use the CSV import. You get a downloadable template, validation of every row and a clear error report, so you can fix problems before the courses are created.
Starter catalogues and more than one branch
If you run several branches, you can copy a course from one branch to another and publish later changes, rather than retyping it. Read more about working across branches. New institutes can also start from a ready-made set of courses for their type of institute and edit them to fit.
Course content such as video lessons is not part of this yet; the catalogue holds the structure of what you teach.
